I am currently a sophomore biomedical sciences major at Marshall University with a standing GPA of 3.6 as well as a member of the Honors College.
Experience
In high school I took a total of 5 AP courses, passing 4 of them (U.S. Gov, Macro, Micro, and English Lit) with a four. I've taken the SAT twice. I have extensive skills in writing essays as well has have taken a total of 3 years of high school Spanish, a year of high school German, and have the equivalent of 4 years of Danish (was an exchange student junior year in HS). As a university student I have taken many classes in the liberal arts, fine arts, business, and sciences. As an honors student I have the ability to be organized and have created study habits that have taken me far academically. I do currently hold a part-time job as a barista at St. Mary's Hospital. I enjoy teaching others and find that it is the key to fully understanding and remembering various studies. Throughout high school I tutored my classmates in math and lead a host of study sessions leading up to exams.

Hobbies
As far as hobbies go, I am active in the Marshall Equestrian Team (MUET). I enjoy doing things outdoors such as hiking, backpacking, and kayaking. I've recently become involved in the Tri-State Racer group, participating in various local 5k's. When I'm not out in the great outdoors I read just about anything I can get my hands on and spend time with my friends.
